A TAGid is a unique identification number assigned to a nominated item. Where appropriate, a removable label is applied so the physical item can be clearly linked to its photographs and corresponding inventory report entry.

No. Tags used during documentation are removable temporary identifiers applied solely for documentation purposes. They do not alter, damage, or permanently mark any item.
